We're running trials/tests/etc with some banks but none of them are interested. Am I just uninformed? How would I go about getting a more accurate view? Yes we do have such plans - please understand that although we are happy with the Jwallet user interface and app security, there are several important features we are adding including BTC support, Jcash integration, crypto in-app trading... Each stage has it's own marketing channels.. While I agree that airdrops are effective in attracting new users, retaining users without the above mentioned features will be a challenge.

Yes we do have such plans - please understand that although we are happy with the Jwallet user interface and app security, there are several important features we are adding including BTC support, Jcash integration, crypto in-app trading... Each stage has it's own marketing channels.. While I agree that airdrops are effective in attracting new users, retaining users without the above mentioned features will be a challenge.

The last part is very true. The soul of the wallet is the ability to exchange, people will not sign up for "coming soon".

Mysterious Revolut are absolutely amazing. They are definitely one of the companies we look up to!

What would be the use case to have a company as Revolut working with you ? I have only one question which is my main concern since I invested an important amount when JNT was value around 0.40$. Ala told him the issue was noted and forwarded to the Devs after the first time Secondly it's not normal for devs to build and push updates to 3 different platforms every time they change anything because it's a massive waste of time, imagine every 20 minutes Google Play tells you jwallet has been updated... The first time they fix the wallet, 20 minutes later you get another update and there's a slight font change /ui improvement... Then 20 minutes later there's something else minor... Doesn't make sense. There are not a lot of people using jwallet at this point in time and I believe the issue isn't critical because if anyone was to send those tokens to an eth address the transaction would fail (correct me if I'm wrong)... Also, just as an example, version one of the ethos wallet was released and it was soooOOOOoo buggy and slow. It stayed like that for months until they released a new version that addressed that issue among others... And there are many more examples of this in the cryptocurrency space and software in general

There are not a lot of people using jwallet at this point in time and I believe the issue isn't critical because if anyone was to send those tokens to an eth address the transaction would fail (correct me if I'm wrong)... Also, just as an example, version one of the ethos wallet was released and it was soooOOOOoo buggy and slow. It stayed like that for months until they released a new version that addressed that issue among others... And there are many more examples of this in the cryptocurrency space and software in general

And the issue is of significance. 1) False advertisement = opening yourself up for lawsuits. 2) Damaging image to the company due to the false claims 3) Causing issues and or confusion to the users So considering the issue, and the time it takes to resolve it, I think it is more than 100% clear to any 10 year old it should be addressed, as it is will be a quick win over a genuine issue.

Fyi, the reason the asset list update took a little longer is that the asset lists accross different products were separate, because of different release times for each product. That being said, the necessary backend that will connect to all the products so they can reflect the most recent asset list ( including adding new tokens and pulling changes to old ones ) is ready and will be reflected in the next release. A band-aid fix might have been simple, but we are approaching it as a holistic issue to have a strong infrastructure moving forward to build on.

Only reason I spoke up now because people were trying to put a guy on a stake to burn him, even though he raises valid points (yes I agree, his choice of words and the tone carried in his messages could be 10 times better, but still) and is one of the only few people bringing the issues up. Because it is not okay to say we will resolve this, etc etc, continuously, but no update in that retrospect for months. People should be voicing their concerns - constructively, even if it is the same concern voiced 50 times - if nothing keeps happening about it. So that the team would stop ignoring it or putting it on a backlog burner. And I am not talking about this UI bug now - just generally people have been raising a lot of concerns ever since the short/medium term issue with the utility, since now we are blocked by legislations in the countries they are trying to operate for the banks and govs to operate through cryptocurrencies. And there has been a lot of comments from the team about how they are working to address it etc. But all the official updates have been extremely generic wordings with no specific goals or timeframes of anything concrete whatsoever. Pure water as they say. As for the dev team if you are not willing to rehaul and separate it into the feature teams spread in multiple offices like in NYC and somewhere in ASIA where you got biggest presence (albeit you should), at the very least make your ISSUE Tracker public for read only (jira? trello? whatever you use). So people at least could see this massive amount of dev activity you guys are talking about, see what milestones you are achieving and which releases are scheduled for when, and what's planned for each release.

I agree with the transparency thing. I enjoy the monthly updates, but the communication between from the team other than the monthly updates is mostly reassurance, which I appreciate. Because we can't exactly see into the company the connection between the community and the team is still kind of severed. @arhadd in addition to the monthly updates, perhaps you could deploy some sort of 'super quick list of the most recent exciting developments' - every few days get each department to contact you with a list of the developments they've made that they are most excited by, and then every Wednesday or Friday just post a list of 3-5 points that you think the community would most appreciate... Obviously nothing under NDA, but the morale of the group could probably be greatly increase if every few days they read something along the lines of "today the marketing team have completed X strategy, the Devs are excited having finish testing X or have started working on YZ, and management have booked meetings with another company who is interested in the product" I personally don't mind the whole Dev team being confined to one corner of the globe, that is assuming that all areas of the business are well interlocked in one way or another, maybe they can elaborate on this in the next update? Kinda go over the structure? If Viktor is having hour long Skype calls every few days with the other departments this would be good to point out. That is fair. He is right that it is an issue that has to be fixed going forward. But the tone of the messages aren't particularly uplifting which is important for a number of reasons...

You walk the walk when you got a clear roadmap with public deadlines of various deliverables of the short/medium term. i.e. monthly and quarterly. Where each quarter you get an MVP product out, or MVP to full version out, or rehauled your backing algos and stress tested them. Or developed new SDKs. You don't have that technical roadmap. Your roadmaps are "we are working with banks and gov agencies on great pilots for 2020 / 2022 vision etc". Way too generic.

Sounds good! I agree that the actual software update release is the be all end all in terms of showing the community that progress is being made, but it's hard to keep the group positive if they're only getting that every few months because they've made it clear they want a lot more (probably asking a little too much but hey what can we do), which is why a taste of what's to come in between the actual satisfying updates wouldn't go astray.

Monthly updates can be a good thing, or biweekly if are well put together, i.e. as I mentioned before you have a clear technical roadmap business and marketing roadmaps. SO you know when team expects what SDKs to be built, when business expects to finish some pilots, when marketing expects to start a campaign for the new product etc. And then in monthly update you cover details of what has been done to meet each of those details of the roadmap, or what's blocking etc. Currently it's way, way way too generic.

At the very least the team shoudl be clear what's the short term focus - each quarter. And of course we already have a long term generic "big vision" roadmap. Which is good to have, but not on its own.

I agree with this. I understand there are NDAs and stuff on things you do for institutions, which are very strict considering nobody knows what's going on, but what about jcash, your own product? How do you expect people to try jCash if they don't know how it works, how they can trade it, anything at all?

Lumos trying to be google for doctors is really cool, I think at some point having enough information on it will help aid AI doctors. Traverse could really revolutionize renewable energy by identifying geospatial locations to build wind/hydro farms. Basement, social app for close friends, I thought of a similar idea where you only connect with people that you actually see on a daily basis or interact with genuinely online Travelchime would make travel planning easier and therefore interesting. Unicorn trying to change the scooter rental economics is interesting moving into the sharing economy. Overview, a robot for robots. Makes you wonder where this will lead. Kalshi as a betting platform, although I think decentralized betting platforms make more sense. Closer Sports provides a good platform for athletes to monetize their social presence. Fake in what sense?.. I wrote it because I and a few of my friends have been searching for such a wallet...came across jwallet from the early days it made it to the play store, didn't download it but wanted to keep my eye on it to see how committed the team behind it is. It is only yesterday that I made the decision to try it out...other wallets that are ETHEREUM ONLY are lacking in either one or more of the features that this particular wallet offers...among them are high levels of security(control of private keys,etc), ease of use (a mobile wallet is just that, a mobile wallet...why do I have to have my laptop around each time I want to perform a simple quick transaction?) beautiful and elegant UI, importing of previous wallets, the feel of an Ethereum environment, and a whole lot of other great features that I cannot mention here...some I don't use just yet in fact I only came across them after my research into the jibrel network project..so I intend to explore them....I love Ethereum and I hate opening a wallet and seeing ether in a cluster of other cryptos. Yeah cheap altcoins can be placed in one place...but Ether, like Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash, deserves the stand alone respect. Of course we all have different opinions and preferences. I just wish we can finally have a team that can satisfy the requirements of all their supporters and users... that's one of the purposes of reviews isn't it?
