Hey everyone, I hope you're doing well. I went through the overnight messages and I noted all feedback, if anyone has any further concerns, please do let me know. At this stage, some points are being repeated over and over with no benefit to Jibrel's progress and the tokenholders time. While I do agree about needing some clarity moving forward, stating expectations and exact times are a sticky situation that we are trying our best to maneuver and finalize. I would love to be able to give you smaller details about what we are doing, who we are talking to, and our plans moving forward but it's still work in progress, and whenever we are able to give updates we will happily do so. For now, our build out of our basic building block of our ecosystem, the Jwallets, are nearing full completion ( albeit with improvements and development along the way) and we are excited to move forward with incorporating our other products, as well as customizing solutions to institutions. On a personal level, I am happy to entertain all criticism and feedback no matter what shape or form, but for the sake of the community's health, it's been a hassle trying to convey clear messages when there is repitition of messages that sometimes have no link to reality and are mainly done to attack the team. Moving forward, I will continue to answer every and all valid concerns but will try to avoid incessant requests that have been addressed and that are not adding much value.

Ala, you're a nice guy, but your message is so empty : I read your words but they contain no information at all - even if it's Work in progress, why don't you give us more details about what you are doing and who you're talking to ? - you are "excited" to incorporate your "other products" : what are they ? What will it bring that competitors don't have? - where is JNT in all that ? You just don't answer to ANY of our questions here. Better say nothing than that in my opinion

Marketing buildout is very much ready for our next releases, it will be ramped up in due time when we are confident that marketing money spent will be utilized in the most efficient way. For now we are in initial user acquisition and testing phases.

You’re building out an ecosystem, the first of which was Jwallet and is blatantly a worse product than several other alternatives that are on the market and enjoy large market share. Jwallet also provides no value to JNT and seems to have no value for institutional clients either who will prefer more custodial solutions or cold storage, air gapped offerings for large amounts of crypto. There is no point in developing cheap knock offs of existing products or doing anything that we aren’t confident in doing better than what’s already out there. So far the development team is not good enough to deliver a wallet that will replace existing storage solutions, and recent hirings inspire no confidence in me this will change moving on to other products. Why then does Jibrel waste time and money doing this? Why not focus on tokenisation? And if you can’t tokenise assets because of regulations the responsible thing is to refund investors and raise funds again once the regulations are in place. We invested in tokenisation not a Jibrel employment program for you to work on new ideas for the next 10-15 years!

Hey Damon, you raise good points. Tokenization is the essence of what we are building out and our products are being tailored to provide the means necessary for achieving hat goal. The regulation aspect is an obstacle but not a roadblock, I don’t think the smart and ethical do is to just give up, I mean what if everyone gave up when they faced some issues in what they were doing? That’s not how it works and giving up is not a characteristic of anyone in our team. We will always work hard to get to where we want even if it involves a lot of hassle with regulators, because that’s the vision we believe in.

I feel you, I only know as much as you do and probably less but until "deals" go through or NDA's get cleared we'll stay in the dark. Like earlier, the next monthly update will be out in about a week so we can hope to see some progress there. I don't have their quote but if I remember correctly they said they will try to use JNT wherever possible. Right now they are building the skeleton and although I don't think or know of many ways it can be incorporated but I'm hoping once the organs start being built the pre-requisite "things" for JNT to be used significantly will get sorted out. It does seem like we have a long road ahead and it will no doubt require the utmost patience but at least we have a lot of gas.

This. Good job on the team for commiting every single day. It probably goes by number of added commits in 30 days However I checked and a lot of commits are less than 5 lines of code + a lot of refactoring. As a developer this ranking doesn't mean much to me because its easily inflatable. But nonetheless good work

Imo wallets are still in an early stage, simplified payment methods like simplified addresses, automated payment requests from merchants making payments one click, wallets that work on cross-platform, even browser plug ins, escrows. The wallets we'll see in 2-3 years will make all of these right now look like pieces of history

Github activitiy means 0%. And I hate this no name sites and noobs not knowing anything about dev using it as a metric. At work I get days where I get 300+ commits in a day. Which is mostly clean up etc and would put me at the top of these ratings. Vivian's point is 100% valid, development is extremely slow - but the bigger concern is that it's not being addressed. It has been this pace from the beginning and it hasn't changed. Unless you see the ramp up on behind the scenes non-public work like smart contracts for the pilots etc. You need a CTO of a much higher calibre and experience, who has successful track record of delivering excellency at pace, and multiple feature teams in US, Europe and Asia, so that they could attract local talent and get involved there. Like many other projects do. Stop hiring everyone in Russia, as good as most of them are on paper and brain-wise, they got no connections or interactions with the rest of the world and are very isolated.

Hey Tsaar, thanks for checking in. Both still have active erc-20 smart contracts but both main-nets have launched and at this point, no one should actually be using them for value exchange. All tokens have been swapped as far as I know, please correct me if I’m wrong. So from ICX and EOS, you cant send to an Ethereum address. The jwallet is an Ethereum and erc-20 token wallet. That being said, they were removed from the asset manager list.

Hi, just curious as to why you think token utility should be top priority? I understand we all want to feel safe and sound again regarding our investments, but that was a risk we all took. If you believe that the team honestly thought the concept was sound in the beginning, then technically they haven’t intentionally done anything wrong by us investors (other than disclosing this information earlier than they did, which I don’t think is an equivalent breach of trust) In my opinion you either trust the team or you don’t. I trust the team to find a reasonable use case for the token at some point, even though they probably have no obligation to. It seems to me that rushing the token utility economics only risks jeopardising the efficiency of the end product which in turn leaves room for competitors to come in with a better model, thus risking the overall success of Jibrel at all.

What do investors in Jibrel products care about the price of the token? With regard to the token model are you saying that the original model never worked? My basic understanding was that as they developed the model and ran testing, it showed that scaling and/or current regulations showed that this model was no longer viable, under the current conditions. Sorry If I wasn’t very clear I meant legal obligation, but I am not well versed in contracts and so forth so correct me if I’m wrong. I think they absolutely should feel obligated to investors and I’m glad that they do, all I’m saying is this. Ok, the original model didn’t work out (for now, as far as I know it could work out in the future as the crypto environment evolves). So now a new model needs to be developed that adds value to the token again. In my opinion this should not be a drop everything and scramble exercise. Finding a new utility in effect adds potentially unnecessary limits to the workings of the financial products that Jibrel is trying to develop. This feels like added risk regarding the efficiency of these products, which is not good for Jibrel’s competitive advantage.

I’m afraid I don’t agree with you there. From what I can see the team has been pretty straightforward about things they’ve done wrong, no matter which benchmark you compare them to. Also, I certainly can’t imagine admin banning you if you can show evidence of things they have said that we’re untrue, they pride them selves on their integrity. It feels a bit like you are having trouble being objective because you have lost money, which doesn’t help anyone. We’ve all lost a lot of money (in my case 5 figures) but that is not entirely Jibrel’s fault. I reckon it’s time to just get over it and let them focus on moving the company forward.

It’s possible because it’s not banned, but there are no clear regulations as of yet. Since the space and projects are still maturing. It makes sense that the government is studying its options to see how to best regulate it.
