We're all in the red, but IMO, there's not much point being sad about it. Sure, it's cathartic, but that's about it. Look at Amazon - it has seen a similar price collapse in the past, and look at it now. The whales in the financial sector are just pushing the price down so they can accumulate prior to things like Bakkt launching. Expect another drop in BTC price. You'll know we've reached capitulation when the price spikes 10% and we see a v-shaped recovery. BTW, I'm not having a go at anyone. Share your opinions, but have faith in the team. They can't control the price, but as long as they keep developing products, we're on a winner :)

Hi Jamal - we've always been up front about liquidating our crypto funds raised shortly after receiving them, so we didn't attempt to act as a crypto-fund and that definitely paid off.. We've also followed a financially conservative cultute, so burn rate is low when compared to other crypto firms.

it won't make a difference i presume, they do not pay for their upkeep with JNT.. All of the funds gained through ICO was withdrawn to fiat so they are all good

Thank you for the transparency. Kucoin listing has not been beneficial to Jibrel. Paying them large sums to keep the listing up is a slippery slope. If you multiply those sums by 5-10 years it could shave off 1 year from the runway

As far as I understand, Coindesk does not talk about a transaction of a Jibrel product, but Jibrel has given them technical "help" to carry it out. "On the tech side, Jibrel Network, to UAE-based fintech startup, assisted the bank with necessary blockchain tools and infrastructure to facilitate the transaction." Yesterday I already quoted Yazan and Talal about the implications of this in the solvency panel and if I needed a full backup in JNT tokens like JCash, for example ... but I had no answer (and today, as usual, they will be busy in the Dubai event). I understood that it would be reflected in December ... but we are still to be confirmed.

Thanks, I shared my awful experience hoping that no one else will be scammed by this guys. I am almost sure by now that they have some accomplice inside Bibox. That's a fact. I only used official Bibox contacts (support web site and telegram administrator) and so when the scammers reached back to me via telegram, for sure, they had my telegram contact from somebody inside Bibox and they also knew that I was having a withdrawal problem. So beware, bibox support are a bunch of untrustworthy people.

The Winklevoss twins have a great track record, and I have no doubt they will do great with the Gemini Dollar. The JUSD product is just one of the FIAT currencies offered as part of Jcash, which is an asset class within the CryDR offering. We are also not offering Jcash to US residents at the moment. We have always been upfront about the fact that we expect government to launch their own digital FIAT in the future, therefore the lifecycle of "regulated stablecoins" might be short-lived (it will need several years as government bureucracy will definitely add to launch lead time).. At Jibrel, we want to tokenize everything, but you need to start with cash :)

The huge fluctuations will be ironed out as pilots come online. Obviously when a bank is making multi million dollar transactions, the current market cap which was achieved by pretty much just the team, initial investors, and the community won't hold the price steady enough. Once pilots are online there will be much more money locked, so a bank cashing out a few million will not be a big deal in contrast to the amount that's already there.

Hey there, thanks. I have a degree in Neuroscience from Northeastern University. I spent some time doing brain research at different institutions and then I got into crypto late 2016. I worked with a VC then worked on an AI startup, while managing some crypto groups and being involved in the space by attending conferences and investing when possible. I’ve known about Jibrel since the early days of the ICO. A lot changed since then :)

Totally agree with you on this. The way I see it is there are two maybe three categories of “stable coins” that be out in the market place. One of which will be see as a Ponzi, with the other two survive and thrive. Digital assets are here to stay however it will likely be in a different form than what the majority of the current crypto community knows today. The 3 categories are classified by the issuing entities/organizations. The First Category: Those that will be issued by the likes central banks and IMF. Within the next 2-3 years central banks will be issuing their very own CBDC, stable coin that will be here to stay. The IMF will likely issue Digital SDRs... Second Category: Those that are issued by FIs and Bank’s will be issuing their own digital currencies as well whether that’s in Euro, USD, Yuan, Yen or Diram etc... Also other financial products such as bonds, securities and perhaps more exotic financial products as well. Third Category: The current stable coins out in the market place issued by exchanges such as usdt, tusd, pax, gusd, usdc cusd, and a number of smaller ones that are not worth mentioning. Also most will not be backed at a 1:1 (ratio of digital asset issued : fiat backed). This is a collapse waiting to happen. The first two will flourish as these will be the digital assets that will flourish and become mainstream. The first one issued and backed by the central banks so there’s no problem there. The second category that are issued by banks and FIs will be properly backed at 1:1 ratio.

Totally agree with you on this. The way I see it is there will be three broad categories of “stable coins” that be out in the market place. One of which will be see as a Ponzi, with the other two survive and thrive. Digital assets are here to stay however it will likely be in a different form than what the majority of the current regular crypto community knows and understand today. Between 90-95% of the currently 1,900 tokens/coins and the 6,000 tokens that have finished their ICOs but have not yet showed up on CMC will likely go to zero and disappear over the next 12-24 months. The 3 broad categories are classified by the issuing entities/organizations. The First Category: Those that will be issued by the likes central banks and IMF. Within the next 2-3 years central banks will be issuing their very own CBDC, these stable coins that will be here to stay. The IMF will likely issue Digital SDRs... Second Category: Those that are issued by FIs and Bank’s will be issuing their own digital currencies as well whether that’s in Euro, USD, Yuan, Yen or Diram etc...Also other financial products such as bonds, securities and perhaps more exotic financial products as well. Third Category: The current stable coins out in the market place issued by exchanges such as usdt, tusd, pax, gusd, usdc cusd, and a number of smaller ones that are not worth mentioning. Give it 2-3 years max. It will happen. 90-95% of the crypto out in the market place will go to 0 and disappear. There will be a handful of those that wil survive and thrive in this transformation of digital assets becoming a brand new asset class. Jibrel have potential to be one of those crypto however there are still a components missing which maybe implemented over time. The same can not be said of most of the other crypto that have no real use case and will never have any real adoptions.

One of them is Jibrel need to have their own platform. I hope you guys don’t mind that I’m speaking my mind here. I like what I see with Jibrel that’s the only reason why I’m here as of only a few days ago. I’ve been in the fintech/Blockchain/crypto space since early 2013, come from the banking sector.
